Gangplank
Cho’ Gath, Sion
Warwick, Kassadin
Tryndamere, Mordekaiser
Olaf, Annie
Lux
Pregame Breakdown:
When my turn to pick comes around I see two tanks. I think to myself I definitely want a bloodrazor this game. This is the main reason I choose Warwick. Also I play a Tankwick I knew filling that off-tank role would be good consider there first two picks and our low amount hard CC thus far. The picks continued with no one picking up a dedicated tank. So we ended up with team No tank vs team tank. Thinking about there set up I knew Lux was going to be a problem unless we could get Kassadin at her. Which I was iffy on just considering the Elo that I’m in. Other than that it was a simple don’t feed early game and everyone get tanky items win late game. On load in I noticed that they were all magic damage except Tryndamere. Running three exhausts on our team I wasn’t worried at all. Needless to say I felt that we could win but it was going to be hard fought.
Summoners: Smite and Flash
Starter Item: Cloth Armor and three Health Pots
Lane Match Ups:
Top: Olaf vs Sion and Tryndamere
Middle: Annie vs Mordekaiser
Bottom: Gangplank and Kassadin vs Cho’ Gath and Lux
Jungle: Warwick vs No jungler
Early Game:
Noticing my team branch off quickly I started at Wolves and followed a Superior path to jungling. Knowing that I wouldn’t be able to hold down and kill any of the tanks till I at least had my ult. Top and mid were fairly passive in there lanes. Olaf and Annie did well against there lane matches. Poor Lux was being outclassed though. Bottom was playing very aggressive. First blood goes to Gangplank at 3:49 from Cho’ Gath. Kassadin takes down Lux shortly after. At about 5 I started looking for ganks. Mainly bottom with Lux. Tryn was either full health of guarded by a sion stun. So I ult, get stunned, then he spins away, I just wasted my ult. Olaf possibly could have caught them if he landed a q and ulted. Thinking back I could have possibly ganked sion. Ulted him, get my whole ult off, olaf q, sion stun, either one of us not stunned beats on him. Sion is rather squishy early. Either he would have to use his flash or die, especially if I had red. Moving on I wasted a good amount of time sitting and waiting for ganks that never happened. Annie did well against Mordekaiser(mord) but died around 7:49 to mords ult ignite combo. Took first dragon at 15:11. Hard push top with Olaf, Gangplank(gp), and I takes first tower at 16:57. So ending early game up in kills, 1 tower and dragon to none.
Mid Game:
I find tryn at red. This baits a 3v3 right after I steal red. The enemy was coming from two directions, mid and top. We were able to focus each one down give gp tryn and me a double kill from sion and mord. This puts us 11 to 2. Gps confidence in his abilities start showing themselves at this time also. Small teams fights break out during this time with us losing ground each team fight. Though we catch a few lucky breaks with a lone lux overextended among others. During this I would say I need to work on being aware of where all enemies even those I can’t see. Timing how long it takes to go from certain points to others could be very valuable information. To at least give you a ballpark. Then just adapting this to the enemies current build and if they have ghost or not. We are slowly pushed back losing tower after tower. At around 37 min the enemy team snags baron and my team initiates a fight while im backing buying wards. Luckily in there push they lose outer bot tower and top inner tower is also being pushed. Annie, Olaf and I successfully defend mid tower before they retreat to cover the other two lanes. As the game transitions into late game the enemy is up in cs, up 1 baron, up towers, even in kills, and we are up 3 dragons to none.
Late Game:
A poor team fights leaves us battered and bruised (gp and kass not getting the memo to engage) gp melting shortly after the main fight is over. Kass does end up picking a double after all this. We get baron at 47 min while sion and mord have 20 seconds on there death timer. Throughout this phase we constantly have a slight positional or initiation advantage that we lose every fight for one reason or another. Mainly the overconfidence of gp. Annie finds them at baron again. While she waits they end up catching and killing her before we can get there. I even the odds with a double, while losing 1 other during the second fight. This stops the baron. Shortly after the enemy team respawns they attempt baron yet again. We gather and attack as one taking 4 of them with no losses of our own. We push straight on through for the win. Poor giant cho trying everything to stop us but to no avail.
On a final note I apologize if you noticed a big shift in my writing throughout this analysis. I decided I was straying away from telling you what a I was thinking, the actions I should take, concerns, ideas, problems to deal with, and how and why I would go about doing or not doing everything. I felt I was giving you a long summary of the game with a little bit of the a aforementioned strewn throughout.

Comments and Tips:
- Mid game is your enemy when playing against a tanky team. Focus on jungle control and farming during this time.
- A good morale leader and someone who knows theory are essential to any team. Olaf was a great moral leader while I was issuing commands.
- I may have a big problem with tunnel vision but if I can stop and think for a minute I can usually come up with something to help our situation.
- Overconfidence can be worse than under confidence. Gp put himself in so many bad situations because he had a great early game. We could have won earlier with a little but smarter play.
