Season 2!

So here is my update! NS has practice from 7-10 Tuesday and Thursday for the past month or so. I've been playing more and more ranked recently. I'm the dedicated jungler for NS. We participated in Fragged Nation tournament. Got a first round forfeit then got stomped 0-2 in the next round. Though i made friends with them. I have played a few normals with them and ask advice when i encounter something I'm not sure about. The new runes are rather lack luster. The only ones i see viable would be maybe APen/MPen, lifesteal, and spell vamp. Though they would be so specific to that charterer and build i could see it easily back firing. My only complaint about the APen/MPen is who do you use the on? Ok so there are hybrids but out of those which one deals a good portion of Physical damage and Magic damage? only 1 of akali's abilities deals physical damage and its not even her main burst, TF deals all magic other than auto attacks, and a lot of the hybrid champions have both ratios but deal a vast majority of one damage type or the other. i think it would work on jax. Other than that i can think maybe skarner, irelia, and tiger udyr. only time will tell.

So i keep meaning to post some new solo que games but every time i do i either forget, clear my replays, or forget to take screenshots. As soon as i do remember, upload my replay, and take screenshots i will have my first season 2 solo queue game up! likewise im going to put up a post about how i feel about the team; what we are good at, what we are bad at, and what we are lacking.

Level 1 Team Fight

Really good level 1 team fight we had while playing 5s. Started rocky and had some miscommunications, but we pulled out 4 for 3 and almost had an ace.

Pro Janna Game

Replay

Never Surrender!

Been a really long time since i posted. so i apologize for that, but darksouls kind of sucked up all my free time. by free time i mean all my time, whoops. 100+ hours later im back on league tearing shit up with a new team. Never Surrender. I named and started the team but was too busy with the club to get any further than the formation. so my roommate  got the ball rolling and we had our first week of team practice! with 4/1 in ranked 5s. Though my stats in solo queue are rather terrible seeing as i mostly end up playing support :'(. but never the less im playing normals and doing team practice to get unrusty. im the main jungler on the team , i think. we dont have set roles but i play a mean nocturne and udyr. other than CursaderAntonius, who is our top laner just because hes so good at it. in fact so good that he looks bad in any other role haha. anyway after next week im planning to get the big word out and officially post us as the Shippensburg team! Then we will be looking to scrim with other teams. hopefully we can get some feed back from them about how we play and where to do better.

Started working on the actual epic comeback montage but either im just not good at making a montage or i just dont think its as good as the idea i had in my head. so ill leave the full replay up but im not going to make the montage.

Epic Comeback

Switching to MediaFire

Alright since the old site i used to use for replays still doesnt work for whatever reason i switched over to using mediafire. Everything should still work fine from the old site but nothing new will be added. Unfortunately, with this switch i wont have a "see all replays" you will have to go to each link i post.

As Season 1 Ends...

Ending Season 1 with 1186 Solo Queue, 1266 in TT, and 1245 in 5s. In solo queue this is up 221 points with 56 wins and 40 loses from when i started this blog. i have so many backed up games that i dont think i could ever get to all of them. so i think im just going to start fresh for season 2 and only pick out interesting games to review.

EDIT: played more and went up 2 elo i think :P

A few things i learned:
  • As a jungler, if your lanes are pushed you SHOULD be ganking. Constant ganks gets your team fed and forces the enemy out of lane. not ganking is like letting your team lose farm and lose the lane.
  • WARD, WARD, WARD! i now ward 2 to 3 times as much as i did. i buy at least 1 ward every time i go back if im the tank or carry, while buying 2 if im the jungler or off-tank, and even more if im support.
  • I need to keep practicing to last hit. im not bad at it but i can always use more practice. especially switch between so many champions and builds.
  • Playing ranked has greatly improved my skill level more than any number of normal games could have. I hope to play a lot more ranked in Season 2
  • Elo hell is more a state of mind then an actual place. In all the games i played i had plenty of bads and plenty of people who i thought were half brain dead and lots of dcs from server issues to people rage quitting to people just leaving or never connecting, but all in all i had 1 actual feeder. Therefore i would say that yes there is a group of people where they cant hold lanes, cant last hit, dont call mias, dont ward, and dont pick for the team. In this area YOU need to hold your lane, YOU need to last hit, YOU need to call mias, YOU need to ward, and YOU need to pick for the team. Doing so will greatly increase your chance to win any game. with constant playing two things will happen: 1) you will carry out at some pace, slow or fast, and 2) you will get better and then carry out. Either way you Elo is raising and you are getting better.
  • I tried to understand TT meta and give it a very good chance, but i still just generally suck at TT. therefore any theory is worthless if i cant apply it.
  • I got bronze and im not happy with it. I know i can do better and i know i could be gold if i only play more. So instead of saying get better or pick better my Season 2 resolution is to play more ranked. not play more in general but play ranked. If i spend the same amount of time playing at a higher level than i will get better fast than if i did normals and didnt care.

Ranked is being reset to today! ive gained 200+ points in the past 4 or 5 weeks without even playing 1 of those weeks. ill see if i can get some newer ranked games up and maybe some other stuff.

LoL Replay down

LoL Replay is currently broken from the last LoL update. So i cant work on ranked games or the comeback montage. Guess i just have to actually play LoL instead :P

Epic Comeback!

So a few friends and I were playing a normal game when we had the best comeback I've ever seen. The enemy having double the kills, getting baron, and down two inhibitors. All to comeback and win!!

I will be making a small montage of the game that will be up sooner or later. I can't put up the reply because it glitched or something. Though I'm working on getting a replay from one of the other players in the mean time.

Solo Queue 6

Bans: Rammus, Amumu, Alistar, Mordekaiser

Picks:
Malzahar
Shen, Cassiopeia
Gangplank, Ashe
Warwick, Sona
Nidalee, Blitzcrank**
Teemo

Pregame Breakdown:
so I'm liking my team at load in. we have a good line of champions. Likewise I'm not afraid of theirs. Our team having a good amount of CC while the enemy has a moderate amount.

Summoners: Clairvoyance and Flash

Starter Item: Sapphire crystal

Lane Match Ups:
Top: Malzahar vs Shen
Middle: Ashe vs Cassiopeia
Bottom: Blitzcrank and vs Teemo and Sona
Jungle: Gangplank vs Warwick

Early Game:
So I start off with a really stupid Clairvoyance, though otherwise uneventfully jungle protection. Bottom is pushed hard and I can't farm very well under tower. Nidalee was pretty bad with the spears and I was always off by a few pixels for grabs. I need to start calling for ganks when my lane is pushed like this. Ashe and Cassiopeia exchange kills in mid with first blood going to Ashe at 7:37. I'm a dumb ass and let Teemo and Sona get an extra kill as I'm trying to get those last couple last hits. Nidalee decides to take both of them on without so much as a warning to me. By the time I get there to help shes already running. A Sona ult leaves both of us stunned and Nidalee dead. Nidalee continues to play aggressive the whole time blaming me. I help out where I can only to die.

Mid Game:
We lose out first turret, bottom, at ~17:20. Nidalee afks for a few mins after she gets caught out of position. The team starts to fall apart. They are just much better. 7 to 12 in kills and down 2 turrets. One bad fight after another and we fall more and more behind. A team fight in our favor turns into Shen taunting all 4 of us there with Nidalee in the back missing her spear only to run into the middle of the fight in cougar to trying and kill Teemo and dieing. Warwick ate everyone else alive. From there it was a fast push then a surrender vote. I'm not usually one to surrender but there was nothing we could do. Just being outplayed. Warwick ended the game with 20 stacks on his Sword of the Occult.

K/D/A
1/5/5

End Game Items:
Tear of the Goddess, Catalyst the Protector, Boots of Speed, Chain Vest, and a Null-Magic Mantle

Creep Score/Towers Destroyed
52/0

Wins/Loses
3/3

Elo:
~946

Comments and Tips:
  • It never hurts to call for a gank when the enemy is beating at your tower.
  • Last hits aren't worth dieing for
  • I need to get better with Clairvoyance if I'm going to use it. I either wasted it or it was on cooldown for far too long.
  • I need to play Blitzcrank outside of ranked for a little. I just can't carry a game with him at all.
  • Jungle Gangplank needs to gank. He has little dragon control other than warding. If he doesn’t gank he was fairly useless as a jungler. Also figured I would get the one that doesn’t carry us.

    Solo Queue 5

    Bans: Alistar, Mordekaiser, Rammus, Amumu

    Picks:
    Zilean
    Gangplank, Ashe
    Udyr, Veiger
    Nunu, Ryze
    Tryndamere, Blitzcrank
    Karthus

    Pregame Breakdown:
So I haven’t played Blitzcrank in a while, but I have played him enough to be confident in my tanking abilities. He is one of my favorite solo queue champions because he can tank and deal damage. I wasn’t big on the Veiger pick seeing that it would only affect 3 champions at most and only 1 significantly enough to matter. The last thing I didn't like about my team was that it was filled with late game champions. This was slightly offset by Zilean, but still can't make up for the fact that Tryndamere and Veiger need farm and lots of it. Looking at the enemy team I feel it was a tough one. Nunu jungle is amazing, Ashe is a good carry, Gangplank and Karthus are heavy pub-stompers and Ryze is Ryze. Lots of teleports this game too.

    Summoners: Clairvoyance and Flash

    Starter Item: Sapphire crystal

    Lane Match Ups:
    Top: Blitzcrank vs Ashe
    Middle: Veiger vs Karthus
Bottom: Tryndamere and Zilean vs Gangplank and Ryze
    Jungle: Udyr and Nunu

    Early Game:
Zilean takes first blood at 4:16 off Ryze. In my lane I'm desperately trying to farm as Ashe harassing me back every time. A nice gank from Udyr nets us Ashe, as she is pushed to my tower. The best part is that I didn't last hit well at all under tower but Ashe was even worse at farming. I was actually ahead. I could never get her in a good grab though. During this Karthus nets 3 kills in a short time frame. Failed gank top nets Karthus another two kills. Remembering Karthus had teleport would have saved our asses here. As Udyr ganked Ashe immediately ran before he was in lane. Therefore a ward was near that brush. This is how the Karthus that just killed Zilean bottom was now right on top of us. My team continues to bitch. Ashe makes short work of the tower. Losing it at ~11:30.

    Mid Game:
Veiger who has complained of lag since the beginning of the game finally DCs. Gangplank starts to slowly roll in the kills. Veiger reconnects not to long later but still complains about the issue. I miss a few easy grabs. But starting getting steam, no pun intended, in my own train as I net a kill here and there. Sadly no one else is getting theirs. These kids were just bad. I get caught out position with Tryndamere. Zilean helps me get away, but then both Zilean and Veiger die chasing kills when they could have easily both got away and should have know that the entire enemy team was right there. I tell everyone to move dragon where we net a good many kills as we catch them all out of position plus dragon. Zilean begins to complain shortly after this of lag too. Needless to say Zilean is 5/11/5 and Veiger is 5/10/1. With Gangplank at 11/0/14 and Karthus at 15/3/6

    Late Game:
Late game begins with us being almost nearly aced. At this same time Veiger can finally two shoot Karthus. This is the time we either start raping face or fall flat because our shitty early and mid game. Well it starts out a mix of both. Zilean and Tryndamere getting caught here and there while Veiger, Udyr, and I kill Ashe and Ryze. Veiger keeps dying almost instantly and Zilean is pretty much useless in team fights where we are on even ground. They take baron at ~38 min with Veiger teleporting in two shooting Karthus and die to Nunu and Ryze. I find out Tryndamere has been feeding as much as Zilean and Veiger around this time. He also has no damage till about this time also. I hate blaming my teammates but I can't do anything against a 16/1/19 Gangplank and a 25/9/12 Karthus when there is no team work what so ever, when no one but the troll has damage, an our support only helps themselves because they are lagging. The only two things I could have tried to do more of is ward and dragon, but I lead the team to one dragon and I can't ward the whole map because my team was literally everywhere. I don’t think we had one 5 on 5 team fight the entire game.

    Wins/Loses
    3/2

    Elo:
    956

    Comments and Tips:
    • Gangplank is just ridicules right now in this Elo.
    • Taking better note of summoner spells can help keep you out of harms way.
    • Sometimes you just have to be able to lead people. If you can't the game is already over. I couldn’t get the team to act as one and therefore it was a 5v1v1v1v1v1.
    • Attack speed without damage means nothing. Likewise with lifesteal and armor pen. Aka Tryndamere's build till 35 mins into the game.
    • Need to work on using Clairvoyance better.

    Solo Queue 4

    Bans: Alistar, Mordekaiser, Amumu, Rammus

    Picks:
    Twisted Fate
    Hermier, Sona
    Irelia, Shaco
    Patheon, Singed
    Orianna, Shen
    Xin

    Pregame Breakdown:
So we had first pick and our captain wanted to know who could play any OP champs. I said I could play Twisted Fate(TF). So we traded TF for Irelia. Two things I was worried about a fed Xin or even an ahead Xin and late game singed. I didn't think we have the best team comp either with Shaco as our AD carry. In retrospect I probably should have gone AD considering my team. I'm just more comfortable with AP as in I've never tried AD.

    Summoners: Exhaust and Flash

    Starter Item: Doran's Ring

    Lane Match Ups:
Top: Irelia and Orianna vs Singed and Patheon
    Middle: Twisted Fate vs Hermier
Bottom: Shaco and Shen vs Xin and Sona
    Jungle: No Junglers

    Early Game:
Hermier's poke was surprisingly good. I was harassed low, but could hold my lane because of my range. First blood went to Xin as 3:31 from Shaco, who complained about Shen not having taunt. Their lane was pushed to the enemy tower too. A gank in mid gives me an assist. It was really dumb, because Hermier knew Shaco was there from a failed gank just before. Hermier ran into the middle of his turrets without his ult. I teley gank top shortly after. Here it becomes painfully obvious I'm terrible at timing my stun and ult. In game I also didn’t notice the Sona tried to hit me in mid as I was teleporting. This could have messed up my stun card, but more likely I timed it all wrong. We still got the kill only for Shaco again to be pushed to bots tower and Xin gets a double. My worst fear coming to life. In a small team back a forth team fight around 9 min I learn just how good Hermier can shape a fight. Using two turrets he blocks me from helping Irelia fight . We lose our first tower at 11:14.

    Mid Game:
There team was so much more map aware. A teley gank for an alone Hermier in our jungle by the back of red, turns into him getting away and Xin kill Shen. I miss my stun card to a tower diving Xin shortly after, while defending bot from Xin and Sona. Again here it shows my mechanics are so rusty. We losing bot tower at 14:09. Xin is the monster I feared he would become. Around the 15 min mark begins the Irelia never in the right place, always overextended, and not listening to the team. We lose top shortly after. At around 17:30ish begins Irelia's slow decent into hating the entire team and me slowly missing more and more stun cards. I discover the enemy has been getting dragon. I hate not having a jungler. Shaco gets caught during some posturing while Irelia is bot doing her thing giving them 4 kills. Xin is currently 9/2. They were also ahead in farm around this time, though I had the highest by a small margin. We have a good team fight killing their entire team without a lose. Till Irelia and Orianna stay too long leaving Irelia to die. During this Shen grabs bot outer tower.

    Late Game:
Somehow late game we start winning team fights. Mostly because Xin is slightly over confident and puts himself in some bad situations. Shaco is getting fed but fed Xin is better than a fed Shaco. Irelia tower dives Singed, Sona, and Xin. Orianna and I sit and watch, while Shen dances in and out. Needless to say Irelia bitches about us watching. Sona ulted and stunned both of them. I wold be died too if I went in. When it was over all 3 were all half health. Irelia and Shaco get caught out of position, again, and they go on to kill more of us. With a good fight top we go for baron, though only 3 of us are there. Shaco and Shen decide its not worth it. Even though Singed has to recall and one id died. During this Hermier comes around almost killing both Irelia and I before we kill him. Xin was just top. I leave, Irelia continues to solo baron. Path walks in stuns her she misses her flash over the wall and Shen ports to her as they both get destroyed. Irelia goes on a rant about how I don’t commit. Yup my fault as I had 200 some health after the Hermier fight. They pick up baron at 38:57. Then slowly push for win with baron.

    Wins/Loses:
    3/1

    Elo:
    978

    Comments and Tips:
    • Hermier may not be top tier but his laning isn’t something to joke about. Slowing turrets, rockets, a stun/blind grenade, and high natural hp regen.
    • Hermier can shape team fights even while hes not there. His ulting slow turrets chewed through me several times, forcing me to retreat.
    • My mechanical skills are horrible form playing so many different champs all the time. I'm going to try and lower the number of champs I play in ranked.
    • Xin is a monster pub stomp no matter what happens.
    • Can't wait for the changes to Patheon. Other than a stun i just didn't really notice him much this game.
    • I completely forgot to build armor to help counter Xin and Patheon. I should have picked up a Thornmail instead of the Catalyst.

    Nerd Love

Little nerd love from my favorite LoL blogging site. Elementz, on team Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), will post a thread asking for questions. Well here is a link to the question and response i got from him.

    CHAOS DUNK!

Check out the description on youtube for information, though I'm playing Orianna in this.

    Solo Queue 3

    Bans: Amumu, Alistar, Rammus, Shen

    Picks:
    Gangplank
    Cho’ Gath, Sion
    Warwick, Kassadin
    Tryndamere, Mordekaiser
    Olaf, Annie
    Lux

    Pregame Breakdown:
When my turn to pick comes around I see two tanks. I think to myself I definitely want a bloodrazor this game. This is the main reason I choose Warwick. Also I play a Tankwick I knew filling that off-tank role would be good consider there first two picks and our low amount hard CC thus far. The picks continued with no one picking up a dedicated tank. So we ended up with team No tank vs team tank. Thinking about there set up I knew Lux was going to be a problem unless we could get Kassadin at her. Which I was iffy on just considering the Elo that I’m in. Other than that it was a simple don’t feed early game and everyone get tanky items win late game. On load in I noticed that they were all magic damage except Tryndamere. Running three exhausts on our team I wasn’t worried at all. Needless to say I felt that we could win but it was going to be hard fought.

    Summoners: Smite and Flash

Starter Item: Cloth Armor and three Health Pots

    Lane Match Ups:
Top: Olaf vs Sion and Tryndamere
    Middle: Annie vs Mordekaiser
Bottom:  Gangplank and Kassadin vs Cho’ Gath and Lux
    Jungle: Warwick vs No jungler

    Early Game:
Noticing my team branch off quickly I started at Wolves and followed a Superior path to jungling. Knowing that I wouldn’t be able to hold down and kill any of the tanks till I at least had my ult. Top and mid were fairly passive in there lanes. Olaf and Annie did well against there lane matches. Poor Lux was being outclassed though. Bottom was playing very aggressive. First blood goes to Gangplank at 3:49 from Cho’ Gath. Kassadin takes down Lux shortly after. At about 5 I started looking for ganks. Mainly bottom with Lux. Tryn was either full health of guarded by a sion stun. So I ult, get stunned, then he spins away, I just wasted my ult. Olaf possibly could have caught them if he landed a q and ulted. Thinking back I could have possibly ganked sion. Ulted him, get my whole ult off, olaf q, sion stun, either one of us not stunned beats on him. Sion is rather squishy early. Either he would have to use his flash or die, especially if I had red. Moving on I wasted a good amount of time sitting and waiting for ganks that never happened. Annie did well against Mordekaiser(mord) but died around 7:49 to mords ult ignite combo. Took first dragon at 15:11. Hard push top with Olaf, Gangplank(gp), and I takes first tower at 16:57. So ending early game up in kills, 1 tower and dragon to none.

    Mid Game:
I find tryn at red. This baits a 3v3 right after I steal red. The enemy was coming from two directions, mid and top. We were able to focus each one down give gp tryn and me a double kill from sion and mord. This puts us 11 to 2. Gps confidence in his abilities start showing themselves at this time also. Small teams fights break out during this time with us losing ground each team fight. Though we catch a few lucky breaks with a lone lux overextended among others. During this I would say I need to work on being aware of where all enemies even those I can’t see. Timing how long it takes to go from certain points to others could be very valuable information. To at least give you a ballpark. Then just adapting this to the enemies current build and if they have ghost or not. We are slowly pushed back losing tower after tower. At around 37 min the enemy team snags baron and my team initiates a fight while im backing buying wards. Luckily in there push they lose outer bot tower and top inner tower is also being pushed. Annie, Olaf and I successfully defend mid tower before they retreat to cover the other two lanes. As the game transitions into late game the enemy is up in cs, up 1 baron, up towers, even in kills, and we are up 3 dragons to none.

    Late Game:
A poor team fights leaves us battered and bruised (gp and kass not getting the memo to engage) gp melting shortly after the main fight is over. Kass does end up picking a double after all this. We get baron at 47 min while sion and mord have 20 seconds on there death timer. Throughout this phase we constantly have a slight positional or initiation advantage that we lose every fight for one reason or another. Mainly the overconfidence of gp. Annie finds them at baron again. While she waits they end up catching and killing her before we can get there. I even the odds with a double, while losing 1 other during the second fight. This stops the baron. Shortly after the enemy team respawns they attempt baron yet again. We gather and attack as one taking 4 of them with no losses of our own. We push straight on through for the win. Poor giant cho trying everything to stop us but to no avail.

On a final note I apologize if you noticed a big shift in my writing throughout this analysis. I decided I was straying away from telling you what a I was thinking, the actions I should take, concerns, ideas, problems to deal with, and how and why I would go about doing or not doing everything. I felt I was giving you a long summary of the game with a little bit of the a aforementioned strewn throughout.

    Wins/Loses:

    Comments and Tips:
    • Mid game is your enemy when playing against a tanky team. Focus on jungle control and farming during this time.
    • A good morale leader and someone who knows theory are essential to any team. Olaf was a great moral leader while I was issuing commands.
    • I may have a big problem with tunnel vision but if I can stop and think for a minute I can usually come up with something to help our situation.
    • Overconfidence can be worse than under confidence. Gp put himself in so many bad situations because he had a great early game. We could have won earlier with a little but smarter play.

      Warwick

      Pregame Breakdown:
So suckafreesunday and i know i thing or two about the current meta and who the real OP champions are. needless to say he bans tf and vayne. While the enemy bans are obivous low elo bans though still strong champions in there own righr, dont get me wrong here. I was sketchy with an enemy nocturne and jarvan and our sivir seeing as nocturne is a pup stomper, jarvan is a top tier tanky-dps and sivir is a late game champion. i choose ww due to our low amount of hard cc, the suppression would be needed i felt.

Bottom: Jarvan and Jax vs Blitzcrank and Xin Zhao
      Jungle: Nocturne vs Warwick

      Early game:
Upon load in I notice that the nocturne is the same one we just played with. With this i new to expect someone who knew how to play noc but not control the jungle. FB went a 3:55 to Jax from our xin when i was 10 seconds too late to gank jarvan at bottom. we immediately pulled ahead in farm. though then nocturnes gank on mid got him two kills. one from sivir and the other from me as i ran at a 200 hp nocturne and a 400 hp kennen while i was at full. i mistakenly thought i killed noc only to miss the last hit leaving him with 8 hp left. the score was now 0-3. little action for a few mins till noc hit 6. a good exchange between kennen and sivir left her weak. nocturne took full advantage of this. A failed tower dive and good pull by blitz gives us our first kill on jaz at 9 mins in. pick at 11 mins nocturnes ult darkened my screen again. i knew it was sivir, but she manged to get to the tower and nocturne follow. trading kills. After this 5 wards on our team were out on the map. picking up my first assists on jax, then immediately taking dragon a1 12:40. During this jarvan flashes over the wall with 1/4 giving us an easy kill. Going back to my jungle nocturne floats around the corner where i start fighting him. both heavy life champs we beat on each other for a little while as vald closes in from the top and sivir runs from mid. as both my teammates reach noc i ult him to hold in place. giving us the kill with me barely alive.

      Mid game:
As the game shifts to mid game a tower is not down for either team the score is tied 5-5 but we are up 1 dragon. the first tower fell at ~16 mins in to vlad and xin, top. With sivir taking mid a few seconds later. during this vlad and xin got caught in the enemy’s upper jungle by blue. giving noc a double kill.
xin tower dives a low kennen only for noc and jax to kill him with sivir barely escaping. The first tower finally falling at 16:40. Xin and vald took top tower. a few seconds later sivir took mid. During this vlad and xin got caught overextend in the enemy jungle giving noc a dobule kill. We still maintained our high level of farm with our solos at ~100 each with there highest at ~80. we had ~100 more creep kills at 17:30. our teams started posturing off by the lower brush at mid. After some time of posturing we caught jaravn alone. forcing him to flash out. we fell back as there brush blocked our line of sight. as we were kennen comes running out of a nearby bush engaging our whole team. we easily pick him up as yet caityln comes back for more. a missed flash she was ours. we pushed the inner mid tower. nocturne killed sivir while we took it only to die himself. jax came running out of the brush from lower jungle as the tower fell only to be killed. we fell back to take care of our pushed top and get dragon at ~19:00. pushing harder and harder we took bottom tower. pushing on to the inner bottom tower a good hook gave us jarvan and forced a team fight. we killed everyone except caityln who was far too late and took inner and hib turrets, plus the inhibitor itself at ~22. the score being 14-8. though this changed in a couple mins when xin got caught in the enemy jungle by red alone. pushing on to the top inner turret i was tunnel visioned and missed kennen, caitlyn, and jarvan come up. giving them a kill on both blitz and i. nocturne’s ult showed its power once again when sivir pushed the same tower only to be caught by caityln and nocturne. noc took our first tower at ~25, top. We picked up another dragon at ~26. i didnt by my first level of boots till 27 minutes into the game…. whoops! a small split push attempted resulted in 2 for 2

      Late game:
15 - 14 us, 3 - 0 dragons us, and 6 - 1 turrets us. Though still we got picked off here and there. thanks to a good ward xin and i picked off nocturne alone and pretty much bursted him down before he could do anything between, my ult and xins pop up. this forced a team fight. we manged to go 4v2. vald an zin pushed a took inner top tower. though just as last time were overextended and gave up two kills to noc and jax. taking our 4th dragon at 34 mins. A cv and blitz pull gave us jarvan again from inside there base. causing kennen to pop his ult for really no reason. i immediately start picking baron as it is now a 4v5. taking down baron and noc (who poorly attempted to steal) at 36 min. also catching caitlyn on her way to help noc.i tanked both top and bottom inhib turrets and we took all the inhibs plus a free kill from a blitz grab. this then gave us a nexus tower and another kill. but sadly fighting for those last towers left only vlad alive. upon respawning we grouped up and pushed down the nexsus.

      Comments/Tips:
      • When fighting Nocturne dodge his q at all costs. If you manage to dodge it don’t stand and fight him on it, move!
      • NEVER STOP ATTACKING TILL THE CHAMPION IS DEAD, NOT WHEN YOU THINK HES DIED!
      • Dragon control makes up for FB and most early game kills.
      • Glad we didn’t get to see the nocturne’s bad side my first game. The enemy team was complaining about him raging.
      • The combo of sivirs ult, my w, blitz’s attack speed buff, and xins attack speed buff resulted in amzing tower pushes.

        Picks:
        Akali
        Nocturne, Blitzcrank (suckafreesunday)
        Gragus, Warwick
        Janna, Corki
        Shen, Teemo
        Katarina

        Pregame Breakdown:
I enjoyed my team for two reasons. 1) corki, blitz, and noc are fantasic pub stompers in the right hands and 2) a farmed blitz can tank and dish out nice damage with loads of cc. other than if i would take top or kat would, i knew it was going to be blitz and janna bot. suckafreesunday runs cv when he plays blitz and its awesome. I wasn’t too worried about the enemy team with there low amount of hard cc. Though shen can prove annoying. akali can snowball hard so i was going to keep an eye on her. i wasnt really worried about gragus or teemo, though they have surprised me every so often.

Bottom:  Akali and Shen vs Blitzcrank and Janna
        Jungle: Warwick vs Nocturne

I will not do a full break down of this match as it was an easy win. Sadly, its true that you learn more in defeat than victory. But FB went to janna with a nocturne gank, who then ganked my lane and secured a teemo kill.

        Comments and Tips:
        • Always be ready for a level 1 fight at blue, if your jungler is starting there. This can be critical to the entire team’s success. Losing first blood can be a real morale killer, to say the least. Especially, when its your jungler at level 1. This can often destroy sub par jungler’s chances of being an asset to the team early and mid game.
        • I need to work on denying more, while still maintaining a high level of farm. Though it worked out that we took an tower early.
        • I need to be better with long range skill shots. Missed a few kills because of it.

Some Notes about the Posts (aka The Key)

A few things you should know about each post.

          Picks and Bans:
          • Allies are in green
          • Enemies are in red
          • I'm white
          • Due Que partner is yellow with summoner name next to it
          The lane match ups:
          •  Left is Bottom Nexus and Right is Top Nexus
I'm terrible at remembering to gather all the information i need from each game before i miss it. So if some games don't have complete information i apologize. Likewise games that have a screenshot of the end game lobby (when i remember to take one) wont have certain information ins the actual post that you can easily find in the picture like cs, k/d, etc.
            •  All games have a replay link (cause its always recording lol) at the bottom of the post.
            • A list can be found here -> All Replay Videos!
For the wins and loses I'm only counting since i started doing this blog. in the screen shoots you can see overall wins and loses.

The first three games will be a little long winded due to trying to summarize the entire game for you. I address this in the third game specifically but would also like to address this here.
            • If you want a summary just skip through the replay. In the posts i want to explain more of what i was thinking and feeling at the time. With a few highlights to keep you up to speed at what is actually happening during all this.
I would also like to see lots of people who are reading and/or watching my replays then respond by asking me questions about everything I did or didn't do, give ideas, constructive criticism, and there own personal experiences. These discussions would help all parties learn from each other and even come up with new ideas together. Anyone can post anonymously, but if I know you don't be afraid to put a little signature at the bottom saying who it is.

Remember to keep the comments constructive!

            Introductions are in Order.

A little information on my LoL time. have 500+ normal wins with 400 some loses. Played ranked around when it first came out and dug myself into a nice whole (900 Elo). stopped playing ranked. came back brought it up 1100+, then went on a losing streak recently bringing me down to 960 some. I currently play with a team called Mid Lane Lemmings (MLL). With them i have played in two ESL GoForLoLCups, both utter defeats. I am the AD carry player. Playing Ashe, Miss Fortune, Vayne, and recently picked up Corki. This is strange because when i started playing LoL i fell in love with Annie and casters, not even liking carries. i felt they did no damage. Have about 400 total games (wins and loses) with Annie. Almost exclusively played her from level 3 to 30. i mostly play with suckafreesunday and recently silkwyrm currently. though during the school yeah i play with yokosumari and measima too. I started this on tumblr but some formatting issues and less options in editing posts have brought me here under the recommendation from an avid blogger(aka my girlfriend).
